The mono-tube shock absorber seals high-pressure air under a single cylinder, and a free piston structure is designed in between to prevent the air from mixing with the oil. The damping force is generated by the extension and contraction of the piston assembly arranged at the piston part at the tip of the shaft, and the volume change of the shaft volume is absorbed by the expansion and compression of the gas.
The mono-tube type seals high-pressure nitrogen gas under the free piston, and uses a very high value to prevent the upper chamber of the piston from becoming negative pressure during the contraction movement.
